Description
The outcome is an digital eBook which presents woman in all the possible reinterpretations associated with this style, with heads of the Medusa, veiled women with a more demonic than pious air, adorned with lilies, pearl necklaces, or resembling goddesses of Mount Olympus.
All in shades of red with bold outlines and shading to bring out their three dimensionality. In the Japanese pieces there is a predominance of vivid colour, strong contrasts and fluorescent hues alongside the colour of traditional scenes, with dragons, snakes, tigers, warriors astride armoured horses with bloody heads, as well as giant squid, sharks and figures of aliens, where traditional Japanese evolves into a quasi psychadelic cartoon.
