Description

In this issue meet the cover girl Anaïs Chabane, tattoo artist, Parisian by birth and tattoo collector from LA. She loves the Ornamental style and sees tattoo as a jewel to adorn the body of the wearer.

We go to California, to visit Alan Padilla, who fuses in his tattoos the Mexican culture and art form spiritually connected to Mexico, with the culture of LA where he lives.

We visite the tattoo shop Iron Mountain Tattoo, in Sacramento, to talk with Curt Baer about his Alien Cowboys Tattoos and his classic tattoo style.

Sampaguita Jay lives in France and her name comes from her Philippine roots, as well as a source of feminine pride which she got from the female side of her family and which she sometimes transmits to the women’s faces she tattoos, so powerful and at the same time feminine.

Her name is Sou TTT, she was born in Korea and spends half the year in Seoul and the rest of the time she travels to various countries to do guest work, mainly London and soon New York where she will be settling down.

See the Porfolio of Smitty, photographer from New York grown up in the music and art scene which raged in New York at the end of the Eighties, focused on beautiful tattooed models.

We go to Montreal to visit Safwan who welcomes us to his Imago Tattoo a multi-storey building with a cosy atmosphere, a busy, cheerful shop, where visitors are welcomed by the founder himself, who says: what we do here is sacred. And then to Italy to meet Fabio Viale who gives life to monumental classical sculptures adding tattoos on the white of the surface.

And much more…
