A collection of 77 plates with hundreds of drawings organized by subject makes up the eBook by Malaysian tattoo artist Daze from Singapore Electric Tattoo.
The ebook starts with illustrations of ‘Yokai’: spirits, monsters, mutant-shaped beasts, demon skulls, small deities and strange oriental creatures, and of mecha, i.e. super robots with animal shapes or demonic machines.
The animal section continues with tigers, horses, and dogs, also in mecha style, foxes, birds and birds of prey. This is followed by the Froggy section dedicated to the popular frog of Asian tradition and ‘Floral’ in which flowers are drawn as body suits or on specific body parts.
Section ‘Figures’ presents drawings of faces and female figures already adapted as backpieces. Back to Mecha with biomechanical drawings of body parts seen from the inside.
